Complete Wet-End Crane Equipment Project for a Large-Scale Fine Paper Machine Production Line
Project Description:
The project involved the supply of specialized wet-end cranes for a 300,000-ton-per-year high-grade fine paper mill. The cranes were equipped with roller replacement-specific lifting attachments and positioning control systems, enabling efficient maintenance, repair, and servicing of the press section and forming section of the paper machine.
The entire crane features anti-corrosion coating, sealed bearings, and waterproof electrical designs, ensuring long-term stable operation in the wet-end's high-humidity, heavy moisture, and mildly corrosive conditions while minimizing rust and failure risks.
Equipped with variable frequency drive and inching control, the hoisting and traversing mechanisms operate smoothly without impact. This enables high-precision alignment and installation of critical components such as rollers and forming fabrics, meeting the stringent assembly requirements of core paper machine equipment.
The system is configured with load limiting, travel limit switches, anti-collision protection, emergency stop, and synchronization monitoring functions. It supports dual-brake redundancy to eliminate safety hazards such as load slipping under heavy loads, over-hoisting, and over-travel.
The crane features a lightweight structural design with low deadweight and low wheel load, effectively reducing building loads. Its compact structure, minimal headroom requirements, and high effective lifting height can significantly lower overall construction costs for the plant steel structure, rail foundations, and civil works.
